Badrakh Energy LLC, is inviting highly skilled and competent individuals for following position: 

DEPUTY PROJECT DIRECTOR 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the configuration and structure of the project, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and project objectives.
  • Define and maintain the baseline project budget and schedule, ensuring timely updates and managing any changes effectively.
  • Lead and manage the project permitting process to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Propose and implement the project’s organizational structure and ensure the effective staffing of the project team.
  • Oversee daily project operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient execution.
  • Ensure that project management documentation and processes are in place and rigorously followed.
  • Facilitate coordination and quality control of specialist consultant services (engineering, procurement, and construction) to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure alignment between project and operational objectives.
  • Prepare for commissioning and ensure operational readiness, providing a seamless transition from project completion to operational phase.
  • Ensure effective project control, including cost management, scheduling, risk mitigation, and document control to guarantee project success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A background in engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of 10 to 15 years in managing complex industrial projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing projects within international companies and multicultural environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with exceptional communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards, with a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
  • Highly autonomous, self-organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent delegation skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong alignment with Orano’s values, ensuring ethical and sustainable project outcomes.
  • Results-oriented decision-maker with a focus on achieving strategic project objectives.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and perform under pressure, maintaining focus and delivering results.
  • Proficiency in both Mongolian and English languages.

Position

  • Based in Ulaanbaatar (with further transfer to site)
  • 5*2 days work schedule, (4 days at office, 1-day remote work)
